Super easy way to decorate for Christmas! Target had some great stuff this year! My tree topper was only $5! Ryan and I decided to go with our initals on our stockings, these were also from taget for $15.
The garland was also from target and was only $5. All the lights were from homedepot, we had to go back a few times because we didn't have enough!

The Tree: I wanted to go with a country chic look this year. I used white lights for the tree and burlap. the burlap I simply cut 2 inch wide strips as long as my fabric was. I didn't wrap the tree to avoid using access burlap. I just made sure the burlap covered the front of the tree. This is the beauty of putting a tree in the corner, less to decorate :). All the ornaments were from my mom and grandmother I went through all their old ornanments and found some really cute ones.

I Heart Autumn

This was super cheap, easy and fun to do!

Banner you will need:
-Twine
-Burlap (I only got a yard)
-Orange, Brown, Red or Yellow Paint (Acrylic Paint)
-Hot glue gun
- Felt for backing (optional, burlap may curl once painted)

1) Make a template for the banner triangle with a regular piece of paper or cardstock, then cut out the amount of letter Autumn has 6. Feel free to use your own saying :)
Optional step: Trace addition triangles in felt for backing and save for the end.

2) Next paint the letters on each triangle, let dry.

3) While the letters are drying you can measure out the twine, I simply held the twine up to my fire place to see where it would hang, I then gave myself several extra inches just in case.

4) Once the letters are dry place the twine on the ground or table (where ever you have space) and place the triangles in order, try to leave space in between. If you like the placement, start hotgluing the flags to the twine.
Optional step: If adding backing go ahead and hotglue the felt flags on the back of the burlap flags. Make sure the twine is covered.

5) Mount the banner anywhere you like! You can use tacks, tape, nails anything that will hold it up! I simply placed the twine underneath my candle holders.

The rest of the items in the picture came from the dollar store! I simply bought fall garland and fall flowers. I mixed and matched fake pumkins from the dollar store and real pumpkins from the grocery store. Have fun styling a fireplace or an entrance table.

Have fun and get creative!

Navy and Grey

Moving in with a boyfriend means compromise right? Boy did I do that! I traded in my pink roses and lace for grey and plain.

I needed to add some color to the room, my boyfriend gave me the ok on navy. Both of the duvet covers are from Urban Outfitters, as well as the chevron picture frame, grey candle holders and metal R. The curtains and rods are from Target.

I painted the dresser to match the curtains. This is a cheap easy way to give your funiture a new look!
